Embroidered baby gifts...
or just cute little remembrance pillows to mark "special dates" in your child's life. As each pillow is finished, store or display them in a basket or small trunk.
Inspired Ideas for Embroidered Baby Gifts, recently posted on the Craftsy blog by Marna Lunt, gives instructions on how to make a birth announcement hanging heart for the baby's room. Marna says when her babies were small, she would drop nice calming scents like lavender on them to help the babies sleep as well as keep the diaper smell at bay. Marna's blog also contains other ideas for creating these little pillows.
